I think if Missouri comes to the SEC then Boise should go to the Big 12. They’ve hung their hat on beating OU for what, 7 years or so? Play them every year, right after playing Texas and Okie St. Then we’ll take them seriously.

Chat on the radio (97.3) is that it's part of the Missouri plans to leave the Big 12.  Yes, it fills the Texas A&M void, but they think it's critical to Missouri's negotiations.

Good idea.  I had them at 15 in my poll.  I looked desperately for someone else to put ahead of them so I could leave them off but the pickings where pretty slim by the time I got down to number 15.

Seriously.     You have to wonder about football coaches for teams entering the SEC.

If Big12 wants to be 12 (like they used to be) and not 10 then they can add Boise regardless of what Mizzou does.  They can also look at BYU, Louisville and such.  Really, if Boise wants to be fully respected as a football power, they should apply to the Big12.

It's a long ways from Austin to Boise (1368 miles), plus the airport is modest and the stadium is small.  Boise State has an excellent football team now, but what else do they offer the Big 12?

I don't think Boise State has anything to offer the Big 12 or anyone else for that matter. Idaho does not bring a fan base or TV market.  The "Blue Grass" stadium they play in holds 33,500. Travel cost for current Big 12 teams will be unreal. They have a decent football program but I have never heard of them in any other sport. It will be pretty cold playing a baseball game in Boise in March.

SC I put Boise State at 15 as well. Like you said it was hard to find anyone to put in front of them. I left the boogers off.
