How come you have a time limit and when we can modify our posts? I would like to be able to make corrections even if it's an hour or two after I post something. I don't see a benefit from limiting the ability to make a correction.

Something else I forgot to ask. How do you post an image (photo) on this site?

I put that on there primarily to keep someone from going back and changing a post that was on the blog.  Imagine this scenario:  I read a good post and blog it.  Then a week later the guy gets mad at us for some reason, maybe we figure out he is a lying about something and call him on it.  Then he goes back to that post and changes it over to say something nasty and I never even know it.  I figure with a 1 hour time limit it gives you time to correct typos and things like that, but I don't have to worry about somebody changing something that is older than that.  I guess I'm just paranoid.  I suppose I could increase the time limit.  How about 24 hours?

Can't help with modifying, but the third icon from the left on the second row of buttons on the post reply screen is the insert image one.  Just paste the url for the image between the tags.

Use these tags without the dots  [img.] in front of the url   and [/img.] after the url

To post an image you just put the url inside an img tag like this:

[img]http://www.somesite.com/mypicture.jpg[/img]

There is also a button that inserts the img tag.

While we are on the subject of posting buttons, you don't have to use the link button for a url any more.  You can just paste the url directly into the post without any tags.  The server will detect it and change it over to a word link that says "Click here for link" as long as it starts with http or www.

I appreciate that. I post a lot of new threads and I somethimes overlook typos due to hurrying. I hate to post obvious typos, I like my stuff to look clean. I like to show my ede-cation.
