Out bats look al lot like they did Tues. night against Aub.

That 5th inning was almost a meltdown, Kilcrease gave up 4 hits including a home run, Bama commited 2 costly errors and we have only 2 hits, both by Dugas.  We've got to get some offensive production.

Rebels hand Crimson Tide its first shutout since 2008

Alabama was held to seven hits by two Ole Miss pitchers who combined to shut out the Crimson Tide for the first time since 2008 Friday night as the Rebels won the Southeastern Conference opener 4-0 in Oxford, Miss.


Ole Miss starter Matt Crouse (5-0) allowed three hits and struck out seven in 6.2 innings. Jake Morgan pitched the final 2.1 innings for the Rebels (15-4, 1-0 in the SEC) and earned his fifth save.

Alabama starter Nathan Kilcrease (2-1) allowed four runs (two earned) on five hits in seven innings. He struck out five. Trey Pilkington pitched the final inning for the Crimson Tide (11-7, 0-1) and retired the only three batters he faced.
