The hire needs to be outside the Penn State family. They need a 100% fresh start with no ties to the school or old staff.
And it will have to be somebody willing to go through very tough times. I don't see a major player, coach-wise, taking the job.
Wouldn't it be something if they pulled the plug on football for a year! It's possible. The Board of Trustees is pretty disgusted with the whole mess.
It wouldn't surprise me. How did none of the BOT know anything about this? If they knew anything about Sandusky, then they are also to blame.
In today's college football world will they give up all the money for a year? That is what college football is all about now it seems to me in all Universities. What you think? RTR!
A smaller school? Probably would end the rest of the season. Unfortunately, the big schools are too much of a money cow that the University's depend on. In the scheme of things college is a business and they chose to make a bad business decision.
