Click here for linkI got to thinking during the night after the football award show and then got mad!!!!
Alabama has this kickass football team. who just barely got beat by a kickass LSU football team.
Alabama has all these All American players and LSU has all these All Americans players.
Then all week long all we hear is about how OKSU has this kickass football who should be playing LSU for the title of the best kickass football team instead of Alabama.
Then last night only two OKSU players, Blackmon and Adcock are named All-Americans.
Alabama had Six players earn Walter Camp All-America Honors. I felt like some of the Alabama defensive players, Hightower and Barron, should have won more awards.
Hightower and Barron have both played 4 years of championship football for Alabama.
I think the sports writers had no problem with an Alabama - LSU rematch. They just knew OKSU would lose to Oklahoma last Saturday night.
I thought the same.
Then for the first time in 8 years OKSU beats Okla.homa
Sportswriters changed their votes trying to get OKSU in the BCS NCG. The coaches didn't change enough of their votes to change the outcome of the BCS selection.
OKlahoma was a terrible football team. They lost 3 of their last 6 games.
Sportswriters have SEC fatigue because of the the last 5 years of domination by the conference.
MFBATR was front runer for the Heisman after the Iron Bowl.
Sportswriters has Alabama football fatigue as well, dropped their ssupport for MFBATR for the Heisman and RGIII gained their support for the Heisman.
That's how I viewed things over the past week.
If OKSU was this kickass football team, then they were have dominated the awards show with more players not just 2!
No Alabama and LSU dominated the awards shows.
Also Lombardi award is a shame.
Upshaw or Hightower are more deserving linebackers. JMHO!
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WALA) - The Alabama football team was heavily represented on the Walter Camp All-America Teams, which was announced Thursday.
