Locker just finished his rookie season with the Tennessee Titans. He was the eighth player picked in the first round of the 2011 NFL draft.
Before that, he starred at Washington, where he played for two seasons with Nussmeier as the Huskies' quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator.
"Coach Nussmeier is a great guy, first and foremost," Locker said. "He is someone you can count on both on and off the field."
"He obviously knows the game really well and does a great job of teaching it to his players," Locker said. "He sees the game from a players' perspective.
