Alabama Gymnasts beat Auburn for the 104th consecutive time

At Auburn. Last event. Last Alabama performer. Meet on the line. Long winning streak against the Tigers on the line.

And just like before, the Crimson Tide's star senior gymnast came through, lifting Alabama to an oh-so-narrow 196.325 to 196.250 victory and extending the 32-year streak to 104 consecutive victories over the archrival.

"We did what we needed to do," Patterson said. "We had some adversity at the beginning of the meet. I said, 'Ladies, this is an opportunity for someone to step in, someone to do the job.'
