I imagine PSU has had it with those people, particularly if JS is stalking the playground, but running down some reporters isn't even a crime in some states.
But back to the playground for a second. They said kids were cutting across his lawn for a shortcut, while Jerry was outside. That sounds like one of those "double dare" or "triple dare" kind of things. The bravest ones running the gauntlet to supplement their lunch money. I knew that playground/school in his backyard would become a side issue before this was over but they were in such a hurry (at that time) to appease that animal.
