Talk about a hobby taking over your life. Initial investment of $20-30 grand, a chase vehicle, and crew. Advertising may offset or defray some of the expense but you had better be sure you know what you are getting into, before getting the bug.  Great balloon festivals all over the country-- Albuquerque, NM is the biggest I know of but PA seems to always have balloon shows going. I bungee jumped out of one over a concrete airstrip.

The balloon festivals here are pretty big. I don't know how they stack up on a national level. Many of the balloons are local. You may see them on a weekend morning if the wind is calm and blowing in the right direction. Some of the sponsors are pretty cool. The best I have seen is a balloon shaped and sponsored like an Old Forester bottle.

You hear these things but never do they run the guilty guy's photo, job title, etc. He needs to be exposed as an example to others that have no business making decisions of any nature. Drag him out in front for his friends and neighbors to see!

Ralph Lauren announced Friday that the uniforms it provides the U.S. Olympic team during the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi, Russia, will be made in the United States.

"We have committed to producing the Opening and Closing ceremony Team USA uniforms in the United States that will be worn for the 2014 Olympic Games," the company said in a statement.

The announcement came on the heels of intense scrutiny by lawmakers after learning that the uniforms for this year's Summer Games in London were made in China.

I saw a Ford Pinto yesterday like the one pictured below. My younger brother had one of these as his first car. That is the first Pinto I have seen in many years. It was in great shape. You could tell the guy restored it as much like original as possible.

That is a beautiful Ford Pinto and I am not a Ford person. Chevy Preacher man but older cars that beautiful have to be admired. RTR!
