The ACL kooks would go ape sh9% but if you made a law that limited the press rec'd by these lone gunmen shooting innocent people, you may put a stop to this. That is what they are seeking-- attention. Take that away and just convict and ship to a cold jail cell to remain for life.  Never mention their gutless names again. That will discourage it.

I think the 24 hour news cycle does contribute to this.  Watching the reporters on TV this morning makes me almost as sick as the shooting itself.

We in the "Big Fish" thread intend to shoot first and ask questions later. I've noticed 2 or 3 of them in the "Daily Thread" that might snap off at any moment. But it'll be a bad day for them if it happens around HERE. HTH

I'll bet. Whew. Thanks for your service, Preach! I saw a big fight, an argument that turned into blows, over shooting that particular weapon at a WV campground gun range. Sometimes real sportsmen disagree on the necessity of owning a weapon clearly meant for one reason only-- mass carnage. I chose not to own a fully automatic weapon but will die, if necessary, defending the right others to own one.  The whiny, freeloading left, may say a lot of things that we can overlook or tolerate. Encroachment on the 2nd amendment is not one of them.

If I am with some guy that yells, "In the hole!" at the top of his lungs every time someone strokes a putt or 'hollers' on every tee shot, he had better start hunting a new ride home.

Anyone else watching LSU at Bama (the Nov. game) on ESPNU. Almost vomited again with the Eric Reid interception at 11:07 in the 4th. Not quite so painful knowing what we do, but nonetheless the feeling of being cheated... having to listen to the "Greatest Team Ever" conversation about LSU, knowing full well we just beat them like a rug.

BTW, the NCG is next-- I guess at 8pm cdt. ESPNU

I heard that a lot on the course last week.  It was rather annoying.  Especially since we were on a putt putt course.
