Last night they were talking about Scam's slum on ESPN. He has 4 TD's and 5 INT's after 5 games. He also has 3 fumbles. His numbers are way down in every area. The highlights they showed were awful. To top it all off his teammates are down on him.
He has probably just been worried about the trees.

If a brick falls off of Denny Chimes and no one gets hit by it...?

PM me if you want to hear the story of when I lost my West Virginity. (lol)

Cool dog but the $1.5 million price might be prohibitive for some. Red Tibetan Mastiff. Purchased by some coal baron in N China. He eats $100 dogs for breakfast (the dawg, not the baron).

He looks like the Cowardly Loin from The Wizard of Oz.

At my house we don't buy dog's we get them from death row at the dog pound.

The woman and I just discussed your post and commend you for rescuing a dog that we're sure is now a proud pmull family member. But we both agreed that we would come home with 20 dogs because passing row after row of unloved, abandoned dogs would be heartbreaking.  RTR to rescuing dogs.  BTW, "rescuing"  sounds like someone had to run into a burning building to get them.

We are not saving the dog population. We got one and she lived about 12 years and we went and got another. The pound has a bunch of cages. It is realy sad. Some of the dogs look very mean, others look like they have been mistreated. We look for puppies. The one we have now was left in a cemetary in a box with 4 others from the litter. It was hard not to take them all. We have found we love a Heinz 57 mutt just as much as a registered show dog.

No way to verify it, but many people say an average mutt is smarter than a pure-bred (often overbred) dog. I've had both types and see no real difference. A jack russell is an example of a clever pure-bred.

Actually 2 of my dogs were "rescued", but not from a pound.  Their mom was rescued from an abusive owner and dropped off at guy's farm who sort of acts like a foster home until he can find somebody to take them permanently.  We ended up getting 2 of her pups.  All of the cats we have were free.

We have to be careful though since our kids are small and we need to make sure these pets are going to have a good temperament.

The $100 dog I had actually died last year of old age.
