“Why do Tennessee fans like the color orange so much?”

Because they wear it to the game on Saturday, they wear it to go hunting on Sunday, and they wear it on Monday when they are picking up trash along the highway.

SEC Rules BCS

Quote
The SEC once again sits atop the college football world after the first release of the BCS standings on Sunday night.

Alabama and Florida are 1-2 in the standings, marking the fifth time that the BCS standings have opened with the top two teams being from the same conference. It also happened in 2011 (LSU Tigers, Alabama), 2009 (Florida, Alabama), 2001 (Oklahoma, Nebraska) and 2000 (Nebraska, Oklahoma).

This is the 32nd time that a team from the SEC is No. 1 in the BCS, most from any conference. It is also the 11th consecutive week that an SEC team is at the top of the BCS standings, one shy of the longest streak in BCS history.

I started to recommend Baltimore Beer Week to everyone, but I looked at the photo gallery and am hesitant. Does anyone know someone in the Baltimore area that could go by and check this out for us?

I though about asking Little CB but I don't think he is old enough to drink.  Wink

Hmmm .... someone on here in the Baltimore area who likes beer and would be willing to test some for the rest of the CRS crew .... geez, sorry guys, don't know anyone.

Prices are a little steep for me, but I might be able to squeeze in one or two of those if it doesn't hurt the wallet too much.

By the way, Little CB is a Yuengling man.  Cheesy

While we are on the beer subject, I have to tell you guys a quick story. About two years ago, a bunch of us from my former office went out to a Mexican restaurant in Mobile. Most of us were getting cervezas (Dos Equis for yours truly), while one of the girls (Sarah)  who does not drink got some water. One of the guys at the table ordered a Coors Light, and a buddy of mine suddenly yells "Hey look, Doug is drinking the same thing as Sarah!"
Maybe this lite beer vs. real beer deserves its' own thread but my opinion has always been that lite beer is just watered down "real beer". BTW, I'm saving any favors with CB for May or June when the soft shelled crabs are in season. HTH

Probably needs a thread, but I wholeheartedly agree on the light beer thing. And we do need to dive into a bushel or so of crabs next year (with some "real beer").

I am.  I was in a boring meeting 90 minutes ago.  Now I am not.

If you go to Germany and order a Sex on the Beach they will give you an American light beer.  After all, it is @#$*ing close to water.

90 minutes closer to the weekend, but also 90 minutes closer to Monday.  And death.

By averaging the time I spent on every post to 1 minute, I arrived at 9.27 days spent on this forum since its advent. That does not count the time spent reading y'alls posts nor the time spent making this post. So let's call it 9.5. lol
