I made it through the first tornado warning of the day. A huge storm with lots of rain and straight line winds just blew through Hartselle where I work. It is headed for the Huntsville Airport now. So far no damage reported.

we are under a severe thunderstorm and tornado watch until 9:00 tonight.

Thank goodness for you all being safe. They said it would be out of East Alabama by 6 PM. It has rained a little and then I haven't seen anything yet but the rain. RTR!

It came through here in East Alabama in Cleburne Co. at Fruithurst, and it had some serious lightning. Very loud thunder and high wind but it didn't do anything. It rained right before the storm arrived and cooled this area off, so it wasn't as bad as first thought. RTR!

National Grilled Cheese Day Finally, a holiday worth getting out of bed for! We opened presents and sang a few grilled cheese carols this morning, but were respectful not to lose the day's true meaning in all the hoop-lah!    Kiss

I missed National Grilled Cheese Day. Can I celebrate it retroactively?

I like anything with cheese on it, especially bread.

I especially enjoy a real strong cheese (Limberger) on dark bread (pumpernickel). SIAP

Tongue My wife buys a bread called Wheat Berry. It is a 7 grain whole wheat bread that makes a delicious toasted cheese, normally with extra sharp cheddar.

Grilled Cheese is good with a bowl of chili too. I like chili when the weather is cold. A big pot of chili is usually good for two meals. The first day I eat chili only. The next day I eat chili and grilled cheese.

Me and the boys tried a trick a year or so ago. Out of hamburger buns? Use two grilled cheese sandwiches to hold your burger and fixin's. Works great.

The fast food chains could learn from you. What you did was supersize your cheeseburger. The fast food places have it wrong thinking adding a few fries and more ice to your drink is supersizing.
