This program is coming on strong. It may be the next Women's program to win a championship. This years team finished second in the SEC with a 10-1 record. Sophomore Mary Anne Macfarlane (pictured below) became only the third Alabama player to become an All-American in singles.

The Tide was ranked as high as No. 7 and was the No. 8 seed in the NCAA Tournament. It finished at No. 11, the highest final ranking in program history.
