Oh please, please, PLEASE let it go go far west. I really don't want to have to pack a moving truck in the middle of a hurricane. It kinda makes putting a couch onto a truck much more difficult.  Angry

Exactly 7 years ago on this date (Aug 26), Katrina was right where Isaac is NOW (just off Key West).  Difference?  Katrina was already a Category-2 Storm.

Looks like they have projected it to hit about where Katrina did.  It won't hit NO or Mobile directly, but somewhere between the two.  So ham sammich for me.

they issued a EVAC of Mobile and Baldwin counties for
zones one and two in both counties .

Baldwin zone 2 reaches all the way from Daphne to Gulf Shores
along Mobile Bay to the north .

schools closed till Thursday ... kids are happy at least
