Good luck, Jody. I think you guys will be the best team in the east this year. Hopefully Georgia's favorable schedule wont keep you from Atlanta.

I do think tonight will be a tough game though. Vandy will be feisty this.year.

I agree.  Vandy will be tough.  It is always harder playing them early in the season, before their depth issues start to hit.  Vandy has decent starters; it is depth that is usually their issue.

I also think South Carolina is the team to beat in the east, despite experts picks to the contrary.  Spurrier owns Georgia, and the game is in SC.

I guess I'm alone on an island. I picked Vandy (& point spread). Vandy is at home and I think this is the perfect time to catch a team napping, first game of the season. Plus, someone has to be different.

Notes of interest:

USC-18 returning starters
Vandy-18 returning starters
both teams have returning QB's

Overall, USC has the better talent. I wonder if it's too late for me to change my selection.
