Prayer Request please

Hi everyone:

My mother has been in the hospital for the last 11 days. She has been having fluid build up around her lungs, preventing her lungs from being able to expand. Anyway, the first surgery went okay but she developed pneumonia and couldn't get up and walk as much as she needed to do.  Because of that, the fluid built back up around her lungs, compressing them. She had another surgery yesterday to insert a drainage tube in her chest to keep the fluid draining, giving her lungs time to expand. (in the original surgery, the sprayed talc onto her chest wall in hopes that her lung would "stick" to it which would prevent the fluid buildup). Anyway, after surgery yesterday, the pain medicine caused her BP to dropped drastically. At one point it was 64/33!! They've given her over 3 IV's of something to help bring it up but so far, 81/something (she couldn't remember) is as high as it's gotten.

Please remember my mother in your prayers. She keeps telling me that you can never have too many prayers! So I'm asking all our Prayer Warriors to lift my mom up for healing.

Terrie I am praying for your MOM and for the doctors also, that God will use his knowledge through those doctors. I also pray for the family and you to be able to hold up and not have distress. Let it be known God has a healing on your Mom right now. Bless the name of Jesus and Bless your Mom in his name Amen

Thank you! Funny thing - after I posted that, I got a phone call from my niece. Mama's BP FINALLY went up!! (maybe it's in anticipation of today's game?)     it's now 99/64!!

Mama seems to be a little better today. We are waiting on the doctor to come by today. Mama wants to go home. WE want Mama to get well first.

Just wanted to stop by and say another Thank You for all the prayers you sent up for Mama. She came home from the hospital on Thursday.  I've gone over a couple of times since she got home. She is doing much better! She wanted to slack on her walking (it's imperative that she walk several times a day) but FINALLY she seemed to understand that it had to be done! Anyway, I was there visiting yesterday and she seemed MUCH better.
