Good old Urban Meyer, he never changes.

Quote
After Michigan State lost at home to Ohio State 17-16 on Saturday, the Spartans reportedly called into question the Buckeyes’ gamesmanship during the week leading up to the game.

While speaking outside the Michigan State locker room after the game, MSU defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi said, “We had tape cut off all week, where they changed the tape, I’m not gonna lie to you,” according to the Detroit Free Press. “They send you tape and they’ve got it all cut off and you don’t get to see shifts or motions or anything else.”

Meyer is a d-bag.

Since every game is on TV it seems to me Mich St could get good film without tOSU help if needed. Very poor sportmanship by tOSU and should get B-10 conference officals attention.

To be honest, I'm kind of surprised that teams at this level still rely on each other for game footage.  I'm just a little ol' hillbilly in Alabama and I could get all the game footage you would ever need on OSU if I wanted too.

The Big Ten requires teams to provide conference opponents with film of all their games as shot by the team’s video staff. According to the report, Michigan State did not get full game film of Ohio State until Thursday and was forced to go to nonconference teams who played Ohio State for more film.

THIS is why you're the Big10, soon to be owned by the MAC.

Overhead game film is different from the kind with the beer commercials and cheerleaders. HTH

I thought the same thing. You would think the coaches would have someone to DVR all games of teams that they would be playing. Lot's of OSU game footage this year.

It is different but you can still see quite a bit in terms of formations, motions, shifts, etc.  Especially with an HD broadcast.  It is certainly better than going into the game blind because the cheaters on the other team wouldn't give you any film.

Maybe Urban needs to come up with a better way to screw the opposition. Didn't give them the complete game film, and tOSU still only won by one point.

You can buy game film, and not just what is shown on TV but all the different angles.  As the richest conference in America, don't tell me Big10 teams can't afford this.

You think Saban would ever rely upon film provided by the opposition, instead of what he can acquire independently?  (like Ohio State's earlier opponent obviously had done)

Any SEC coach would be laughed out of the league for crying about getting edited game film that failed to show all formations and plays of their opponent.  Do your homework, man!
