On page 6, McNeal talks about the 1979 LSU game. They played in Baton Rouge in a hard, driving rain. BAMA won 3-0. Someone said, "lets ride to the airport and see the Tide come in". They were beat half to death. EVERYONE limping, moving slow, dragging their feet. Coach Bryant was carrying his own suitcase. When he passed I said, "Coach Bryant, can I help you with your bag?" He turned to me and gruffly said, "No!", and then promptly walked into the back of a Chevelle. I had nightmares for years after that. You can ask my Momma.
