Western Kentucky @ Troy is on now, with Troy winning 10-0

Troy had a nice first drive which stalled in the red zone and kicked a field goal

Then W KY fumbled around the 35 or so, and Troy recovered.  Troy scored a TD on a long pass caught at the 4 and run into the end zone.

Troy also drove down the field on their third drive, stalled near the red zone, and missed the field goal, a 43 yarder.  

WKY has the ball now.

The other game on tonight is West, Arizona State v. Colorado (which is really lousy this year) @ 8 on ESPN.  Arizona State is pretty good, hyped by the pundits as better than expected.  Their only loss this season was to the SEC, Missouri beat them by 4 using their backup QB (same guy playing Bama, so he has some "big game" winning experience.

WKY hit a pass across the middle for a TD.  Troy up 10-7

After the TD, ESPNU showed photos of Big Red, WKY's mascot, thru the years.  Just looks like a red blob to me.

Big Red is in the College Mascot Hall of Fame, whatever that is, with 7 other schools.  The Hall must not be very big.  Others are Bucky Badger WI, Sparty, YouDee (Deleware?), Brutus the Buckeye, Lil Red (Nebraska), and then some SEC teams, Smokey from TN and Aubie from the Barn. 

Those are probably two of the more lame mascots in the SEC, other than the Ole Miss Bear.
