SEC Race

Four Teams still control their own destiny in the SEC West. Alabama and MSU are undefeated, and LSU and TAM have Florida as their only loss. LSU and TAM play next Saturday at LSU for the third place slot in the West.

In the East, only Florida and USCe control their destiny. They play next Saturday in Gainesville.

And while Bama remains the team to beat, there's a pack of hungry wolves out there.

I would also add that all of these teams most likely still control their own destiny for the national championship. If they win out they will probably go to Miami.

Probably, unless Oregon and Notre Dame (Kansas State?) go undefeated and no one in the SEC goes undefeated. Still, anyone in the top 5 in the SEC this year could beat anyone outside of the conference.

Imagine this scenario: Alabama and Florida go undefeated until the SEC championship game. Oregon and the others all have at least one bad Iowa State type loss. I would love to see the rest of the country melt down if we had a Flodida Alabama rematch for the national championship.

That would be a nice scenario but after last year I don't think there is anyway the NZAA will let 2 SEC teams meet again. The media would faint and have serious heart problems. RTR!
