I loved seeing the Tigers shut down the Yankees and sweep them 4-0 in games. I really wanted to see the Triple Crown Winner (Cabrera) in the Series. Also,, the Yankees have the highest team payroll at $198 mil, while Detroit is at $132 mil. Plus, the Yankees are paying Alex Rodriguez $30 mil a year to ride the pine. Like I said, I love it.

I love to see St. Louis in it again playing the Tigers. St. Louis has a chance to win 2 in a row. That is not an easy feat. RTR!

Possible rematch of the 1968 World Series. I think Detroit wins it again.

I'm not a Detroit fan... except when the keep the Yankees out of the WS!   Go Tigers!   Applause E-Cred

Back in the days before much televised sports, Cardinals baseball was what could be heard in N. AL on the radio, and (combined with the St. Louis base relocation to Huntsville) there are many fans of the red birds up here.

Go Cardinals!

Until 1966, there was no Southern baseball team, so many fans in the South were Cardinal fans. What changed that was the Braves moving to Atlanta and the creation of the Houston Astros in 1966.

There has actually been a more recent matchup between these two, MD. Cards beat the Tigers 4-1 in 2006 Series.

Glad to see the Stankees go home, although a little bittersweet. I wish it could have been the O's that sent them home, but this will work, too. Go Tigers!!

Hey one thing for sure the Tigers are not somebody to take time off with, cause anybody that whips the Yankees and cause them to be embarrassed has got to be good. RTR!

Wow, I forgot all about that. You're right, the Cards beat a very good Tigers team.
