But yet he keeps posting, and I see that he is in fact browsing other topics even though he said that he would only view this one.  He is welcome to stay if he wants to behave himself.  Otherwise we won't cry too hard about his departure.

So this is where the super sensitive types go when they can't take criticism.

ssmith was awful as a Mod.  He was a hypocrite that allowed certain elements to stay and over moderated to stroke his moderation ego.  It's no coincidence that TS started sinking fast when those two (ssmith and Tidal Merge) were reigning supreme and Rattey was focusing his time and efforts towards other projects.

Now you have this place.  Jody is right, this place is way too clustered and generally lacks as a whole.  Had I not seen a poster such as Jody, who many actually like and respect, getting wrongfully blasted, I would have never taken the time to register.  In general, the layout is frustrating, clustered, and looks like it needs to be scrapped and started from scratch.

I don't remember you from TS either.  First, let me say welcome.  Second let me say this:  IF you go back and look, Jody came HERE and started attacking. Jody was NOT "wrongfully blasted". We had fun with the post to keep things light. And now you come here saying we "attacked" a perfectly NICE Jody.  Obviously our opinions of "nice" are greatly different.  It does sound as if the general NICE demeanor of folks here isn't your cup of tea. Sorry to hear it but with all respect, leave if you don't like it. Coming here just to try to stir up trouble has obviously backfired.  Please tell WA that we will welcome all who want to come join a site that is clean and where we get along. I actually feel sorry for you in that you felt you needed to come here to bash. Just curious - have any of the CRS folks come to WA and ATTACKED with no provocation?  Just saying.....

Let's not kid ourselves though.  He did not come here to convince us that our web site is horrible and we should throw it away and start over.  He did not even come here to defend Jody.  He came here for the one and only purpose of bashing the General.

that's true , and a lot of the design of this site was all of our ideas put together
SUPERCOACH took many of our suggestions and incorporated them into what you see here .
he just didn't throw a site up here and say like it or not here it is , use it ...

we all have a stake here , some more than others , either way it was fun building it and
now enjoying it , it is still growing and gaining features as we speak ..
just give it a chance , there is more to it than just a message forum here
it is a community of Alabama fans enjoying each other and helping each other
the one thing that it isn't ... is a bad pacle  ...

By the way, I am still working on building out the recruiting section.  It is a pretty big project, but I think it will be awesome once I get it in place.  It is all custom code and will be much more sophisticated than what you can do by just posting the info in a forum.

I think I remember AHM21 from TS now that I think about it.  Wasn't he the guy that posted some inside info that didn't pan out?  Then everybody piled on him and bashed him about it?

If so, you would think he would appreciate a civil site like this place.  We would never do that here, especially if you posted it in good faith and things just didn't happen the way you were expecting them to.

yeah I remember him from TS , I was there for several years , way before Coach Saban was hired
one thing everyone has to remember , Smitty was doing his mod'n like he was told they wanted it done .
if your gonna be mad , be mad a TS , it was their rules .
if Smitty went out of his way to be mean to somebody I missed it but I was on a lot and don't see how

I changed my name a few times and mostly just read a lot , post count was not one of my concerns.
but for the life of me I can't remember Smitty being mean to people , nothing out of regular mod'n anyway ...

I've been a mod on a sports site , one that catered to au , UA , ole miss , lsu  and beyond
it can be tough , I don't envy the decisions you have to make sometimes .
maybe me being a mod is the reason I don't try to get to far outside the rules .

regardless , this is a new pacle  and a new time ... I guess I'm not much of a grudge holder

Off-topic but IMO the best thing about this forum is guys like Ricky. Absolute class act. Like I've said many times, I post both places, there more than here, but I enjoy coming over here every once and a while to see what's going on.
