Off-topic but IMO the best thing about this forum is guys like Ricky. Absolute class act. Like I've said many times, I post both places, there more than here, but I enjoy coming over here every once and a while to see what's going on.

I'm not one of those people?  I felt the need to personally inform this jolly bunch of ass kissers just how much suck is taking place here.  However, you seem quite upset and thus my E-cred will plummet.  E-cred is a glorified popularity contest that makes you guys no different than a bunch of high schoolers.  

Why does it matter?  I've stated my opinion that this site could use a total overhaul and it has led to you telling me what my intentions are.  Just because I say this site sucks doesn't mean I intend on taking it down.  As far as 'Bama sites go, this site is at the bottom of the ladder.  It can't go much lower.  

I have to agree with the part concerning E-credits.  I have noticed everyday that I have been here that I haven't rated clapping hands "Bravos" with E-credits for my comments and contributions.  I think...not being syrupy sweet  has something to do with it.  Other than that... I guess I'm just not a "popular" type of person on message boards.   I really don't post here to pump up my ego with E-credits though.  It's silly. 

Actually, Jody is a very intelligent and likeable person.  He was one of the most respected posters at Tidesports although he was loyal to his Gamecocks.  But I thought Jody was out of line with the attack on ssmith who is super laid back on this forum.  Ssmith has given posters here no reason to resent him.  The past is the past.

You could be right about that.  For the record there are many times that I give e-creds without the bravo smiley.  Especially if I have a ton of posts to read I will just silently hit the applause link as I read through and try to get caught up.  Most of the smilies probably come when I am online and see the post in real time.

I want to apologize to anyone who may feel like I am biased in that regard.

Oh, I almost forgot.  Have some e-creds for the constructive feedback.

Well now that I think about this some more, this can't be right.  If it were strictly a popularity contest, you would probably be winning.  Didn't you invite a whole bunch of our current members to come here?

I think you may be underestimating yourself here.  You average about 1 e-cred for every 2 1/2 posts.  That is a pretty good ratio.  I average about 1 e-cred for every 6 posts.  A lot of the people on the Most E-Cred list don't come anywhere close to the e-cred to post ratio you have.  I would say you have a ton of e-cred for someone with around 150 posts.  Don't sell yourself short.

Even though we can watch videos without ever leaving the forum, sometimes it is better to post a link with a language warning if the video is not appropriate for children.

For example, check out this recent interview with Pat Dye regarding the impending doom at the barn.  He gets pretty irritated.  His momma ought to wash his mouth out with soap.  I can't believe he actually said that:

CrimsonPhoenix, I hope I am a natural good person, but when I got Saved Jesus and I made a deal. He would guide me in all truth and forgive me , and I would never deny him, so he gives me all I have today. I can assure you as an Army Ranger when I came out of the Army I was not a very nice person. My wife had doubts at times. I hope to never use words but I hope to be exactly like my words in Public.
