Good morning Chech.

Good morning.  Coffee and TV for a few minutes, then off to work on the house.

Looks like the hurricane sucked up some dry air and is weakening quite a bit.  Maybe Preacher's prayers have taken their toll on this storm.

Preacher, send money, or work, or both. TIA

And by money, I mean millions, not 38 dollars.

One week till kickoff.

I got the fever bad after watching a terrific high school game last night. In Decatur only Alabama - barn is bigger than Austin- Decatur. Austin won 35-25.

Clearly you're referring to something I missed.

Update yard sales:
This morning I walked to a neighbor's yard sale.  I bought a new Ryobi cordless drill and cordless saw (a set) in the carry bag for $20.  he'd bought it for a kitchen-repair job and was downsizing.  Go figure.  Like this set: Click here for link

Also bought a custom Bowie knife and sheath, patterned after the Western Bowie (pi below) for $15.  Good day.

Morning guys.

I am glad the strength of the storm is fading. Preacher's prayers look to be working. We spent the last 2 days trying to find a flight out of Boston for my daughter. Her flight which was scheduled for late Sunday afternoon was canceled along with thousands of others.

I tried to get her a flight out of Providence Rhode Island and Manchester New Hampshire. They were all over booked. All the business travelers left Wednesday,Thursday and yesterday. Her boyfriend is from Boston and knows his way around. I pray they will be safe.

They went to Red Sox game last night. She sent us this picture of the Green Monster at Fenway. It was the Athletics vs Sox. I saw the Twins play there in 1998. Paul Molitor, Otis Nixon, Mo Vaugh and Pedro Martinez. At the time Martinez was the highest paid MLB player making $15 million a year and he got knocked out early.
