I have emailed him 3 times. I have his real name and he has mine. There are 26 people in the WV white pages with same name. I don't know the town he lives in to narrow it down.

This happened once before and he showed up like nothing was wrong. Hopefully that will happen again. I miss the old buzzard.

As do I. It's been 2 or 3 weeks now. He's either sick of us or just plain sick. Hope he's Ok.

I'd worry about him, except he did this before.  He'll show up about the time Kent State does.

He will show up this coming Labor day weekend. He last talked about his daughters and schools and buying them both furniture and stuff. Plus one of them is in Redstick. Some of his business is in Oklahoma. He may be out there.

Hope you've all had a good day.  This photo should help too.

Count your blessings that the hurricane didn't hit us.  And remember those in its path in your prayers.

Yes, sad.  But those two (and their cat) were sailing to Annapolis when they lost power.  They had decided to move their boat before the storm.  Without power from their motor, and unable to sail (?), they anchored to wait out the storm.  Oops.

Don't get me wrong, this storm has caused minimun damage on the east coast, compared to the Gulf of Mexico storms that rock the southern states. I can not imagine a fearce Cat 3-5 storm hitting the Northeast. Thousands of lifes would be lost. Katrina destoried 90,000 square miles of Mississippi alone.

Irene is battering NJ this morning with 75 MPH winds and drawing a bead on N.Y. City. All of N.E. getting drenched. Not good, but could have been worse. I'm off to Defuniak Springs to play golf this morning. I'll catch up with you guys later.

When not, kick 'em straight (i.e., foot putter).

Good morning chechem, 2stater and ssmith general.

Morning, Crisp.  I'm finishing my coffee and getting ready to return to the house renovation.  We'll put the decking on the porch roof today.  You?

She is fine. Thanks for asking chech. Power is still on in hotel. All businesses are closed and hard rain since last night.

She's staying there today?  Glad all's well.
My son had to make a trip across North Carolina yesterday; no problem as it turned out.  Looks like your daughter will be there in Boston when "the storm" hits, but it's downgraded now and not much of a threat.  She'll have a story to tell.

Boston's Logan Int. is open right now but no flights. She contacted her manager Friday where she couldn't get out of Boston and she trying to get home tomorrow and to work on Tuesday. Now it may be difficult to get out before Tuesday. Wells Fargo called and offered her a job she has been after. They are going to sponser her to get her series 7 broker license. She is on top of the world over that.
