She is fine. Thanks for asking chech. Power is still on in hotel. All businesses are closed and hard rain since last night.

She's staying there today?  Glad all's well.
My son had to make a trip across North Carolina yesterday; no problem as it turned out.  Looks like your daughter will be there in Boston when "the storm" hits, but it's downgraded now and not much of a threat.  She'll have a story to tell.

Boston's Logan Int. is open right now but no flights. She contacted her manager Friday where she couldn't get out of Boston and she trying to get home tomorrow and to work on Tuesday. Now it may be difficult to get out before Tuesday. Wells Fargo called and offered her a job she has been after. They are going to sponser her to get her series 7 broker license. She is on top of the world over that.
Great news on the job.
Sounds like the airlines will be a mess for days, so she might as well enjoy the stay.  There are lots of great restaurants and museums in Boston.  I could get stranded there for a week without worry.

Her boyfriend is from Boston. He and his parents live in Hoover now. His friends from Boston have been hanging out with them all week. They went to the museum, Fenway, aquarium, Quicy's market ( shopping ), Faneuil Hall, Sam Adams brewery( free beer ) and many sports bars and restaurants.

‎5 RULES TO REMEMBER IN LIFE:

1. Money cannot buy happiness, but it’s more comfortable to cry in a Mercedes than on a bicycle.
2. Forgive your enemy... but remember the butthole's name.
3. Help someone when they are in trouble and they'll remember you when they're in trouble again.
4. Many people are alive only because it’s illegal to shoot them.
5. Alcohol does not solve any problems, but then neither does milk.

Sounds like you're right on top of things, General. These Atlantic hurricanes normally circle toward Britain and give us too much rain and wind. Funny how the Gulf has been spared lately. The Lord might be giving it time to recover from BP's mess.

The decking is ON.  Looks good, huh?

We had to work in the sun all morning.  I'm sunburned, but not much.  The Belize tan helped protect me.

I know.  But can you see that pile of lumber in the background (past the ladder; under the carport)?  It's actually 3 piles of equal height.  There is a long way to go.
