Yesterday was only introductions but I had to ask many of the students to write their English names so I could understand what they were saying.

The names that they choose are often entertaining.  Some of this semester's gems:  Ice Cream, Sweet Dumplings, Tifa, Anstise, Growkey, Mars, Han, Egg, Marykisy, List, Swift, Cheshire, and Vanilla.

I have some burning to do in the pasture, I had been waiting on some rain to wet things down a little. I have a big pile as well as a big pine that I cut down a few days ago that I haven't cut up yet.

Not too spicy, but quite good.

One of the international markets her sells a cajun seasoning.  I would use more but it's almost $4.00 for a little container which is pretty expensive in China.  At a cheap restaurant I can buy two orders of kung-pao chicken for that.
