I like Gov. Bentley immensely. He was my wife's dermatologist when she was a teenager, and one his sons was in my freshman class as an undergrad.

This may not be news to those of you who frequent Boogerville, but today I talked with a friend who went to a conference at Booger University last week.  He said the trees at Toomers are dying for certain; the tops are all dead and the leaves are shriveled.

Like I said, maybe this is   , but they're croaked.  Sorry if it's old news

(not really sorry at all  ).

Sounds like a typical Lee County Autumn to me.

I'm not so sure that they want them to die so they can say Updyke killed them. They didn't have a problem with the kids throwing more paper on them.
