The weather is fantastic up here in North Alabama today.  Blue skies and a nice mild low 70s.

here too

Smitty, we need a puppy fix.  Can you post photos?
Meanwhile, I'm going to a meeting - ugh.  Back about 1:00.
I hope that meeting includes lunch.  Tongue

***Warning: this post may be inappropriate for those dieting***

No lunch, but I wolfed (wolved?) down a peanut-butter sammich before going to the meeting.  And when I got downstairs the secretary had a pecan pie to share with us (she must be up for a raise).  I had a slice of that. Did I miss anything?

Here too.  I'm staring out the window.  Tomorrow will be a long day (hate late kickoffs on the road).

I would rather have the 2:30 game. It will be a long day.

You can pity me. It kicks off over here at 1 a.m. and ends about sunup. If I miss a night's sleep, we better win.

Wow (e-pity sent).  You can join us on the in-game thread.  Maybe set the computer so it dings whenever something is posted on a CRS thread.  Or, try coffee...

Well, it's impossible to nod off. My eyes open wide when Bama runs on the field, my blood pressure rises after the kickoff, and my nerves keep me on edge the rest of the way. The next day I feel like an injured player who was carried off the field.

Austin won big. 49-12 while pulling the starters with 7 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter. We are 5-1. The meat of of schedule is coming up the next two weeks.

Bummer about the funeral wedding, 2.  Maybe we can have Terrie Bread keep you updated.  You should tell the bride, "Always get married in the morning; if it doesn't work out, you haven't wasted the whole day."

I am, for one day only. Can't wait to do the toast at the reception tomorrow night. If I word it right, I'll be kicked out in time to catch the 2nd half.
