Morinin' brethren. Chilly here in Prattville.

Our hillbilly said snow was predicted.  He may be incommunicado.
I think I'd move if it snowed at my house on October 1st.

That happens when you live on a mountain. I saw enough snow the last 3 years to last me the rest of my life.  Snow ball

Yep, when it gets into the 40s I start packing for the tropics.  Remember this photo from summer?  I'll be in that hammock by the end of December.  Yummy.

Rehearsal dinner a success. Nephew's wife to be, admitted to the error of her ways for picking a Saturday during football season to wed. I was surrounded by barners. One of them spent some time near Gainesville and did the gator chomp at me while wearing a barner shirt. He still can't figure out the urine taste in his Natty Lite. This wedding is turning out to be a little fun. I'm still gonna have to depend on Breddy for updates. After converting my "niece to be" she asked me to behave myself during the reception tomorrow night. I asked her if that included her barner/gator uncle. She gave me free reign on him if I was good at the reception. When life gives you lemons, urinate in the barner's Natty Lite. Life is good. G'night all.

Isn't drinking Natty Lite is punishment enough?

Quote
The Wine Taster

At a local winery, the regular taster died, and the director started looking for a new one to hire. A retired US Navy fighter pilot, drunk and with a ragged dirty look, came to apply for the position.

The director of the factory wondered how to send him away. They gave him a glass to drink.

The old pilot tried it and said, "It's a Muscat three years old, grown on a north slope, matured in steel containers. Low grade but acceptable."

"That's correct", said the boss. "Another glass, please."

"It's a cabernet, eight years old, south-western slope, oak barrels, matured at eight degrees. Requires three more years for finest results."

 "Absolutely correct. A third glass."

''It's a pinot blanc champagne, high grade and exclusive'' calmly said the drunk.

The director was astonished and winked at his secretary to suggest something. She left the room and came back in with a glass of urine.

The alcoholic tried it. "It's a blonde, 26 years old, three months pregnant, and if I don't get the job, I'll name the father

An old friend that now lives in California sent me this because he knew my dad was a WWII Navy fighter pilot stationed aboard the USS Essex aircraft carrier.

Looks a little ghey. They need to stick with the cheesehead hats like the Packers.

Gooood Mornin   Coffee   Roll Tide

Roll Tide, Leroy.  Cold up your way today?  We've got 46.  Brrr.

Down my way (about 45 miles north of Tallahassee) it was in the mid 40's at daylight...I've been out in the back yard trying to catch a few catfish to fry up with some gator tail this afternoon and it's still a little nipply out there  Grin

I think that's Bama's game plan too, Leroy.

It is 51 in Decatur right now. It feels great. This is football weather. It is going to be a long day waiting on the 7:00 kickoff.

Sneak a phone into the church to keep up with the score. When the ring tone plays "Yea Alabama" it will lighten up the ceremony.

That's a hell of an idea, OT. Most of them are barners.  Laughing

"Good morning again, all."

I have finished my chores: edged the walk, sharpened the hedge clippers, used the loppers to trim the trees along the driveway, changed the chain on my chainsaw, hung up a new fluorescent light in the workshop, and went to the local flea market (got a Stanley 15-oz hammer for $1; a Jimmy Buffett book for $1).

I'll watch the first few minutes of the early games, then LF and I are off to a fundraiser.  At first I declined, then I saw that pout (crushing to a male), so I agreed to go "as long as we're back for the Booger game."  She agreed.

Enjoy your days, boys.  This could be another goodie.
