Finished up my lone class of the day at 10:00 this morning and was walking back to my apartment when the phone rang.

Me: Hello?
Office: Yes.  Philip?
Me: Yes.
Office: Yes.  Hello.  This is HND program office.
Me: Yes.
Office: Yes.  You can come to my office?
Me: Yes.
Office: Yes. We have your clothes.
Me: My clothes?
Office: Yes.  Because next week is the autumn sports meeting. We have some nice clothes for you.
Me: Okay. I'll be there in a minute.
Office: Okay. Okay.  See you in a minute. 

Don't leave me hanging...more?

Sorry if I offend but this is not up to par. Was the jacket nicer than the one you picked out? Laughing about them thinking Autumn means cold, no matter what the thermostat says. Jacket 12 sizes bigger 'cause we are all fat? Not up to snuff with your usual stuff-- I guess we all have "off" days.

Sorry to disappoint. 

The funny part to me is the repeated use of the word yes, and the fact that the conversation is always exactly the same when she calls.  And that I didn't pick out a jacket.  She just randomly called me on a Wednesday and gave me a decent winter jacket with removable fleece.

Facinating stuff. I read all the comment section on a link this morning. I have a real problem conveying sarcasm through the world wide web. Those people would have me locked up as a kook. No way do I want to appear disinterested. I'm rapidly becoming one of your biggest fans.

Thank you for the support!  I'm sincerely sorry for not understanding your difficulties expressing yourself.  In my younger days I was quite good at expressing sarcasm, so if you ever need any help please don't hesitate to ask!
