Good news here tonight:

1.  Rain.  It's been raining since 6:00.  We've had an inch now.  We needed it.

2.  I bought some silver dollars this weekend at the show.  One of them is worth twice what the others are worth.  I didn't notice it when I bought them.

I bought some new uncirculated silver dollars back in 1999 and again in 2000 for the new Millennium. I gave some of them out at Christmas back then. I still have about 10 or so from each year. Not sure because they are in a safe deposit box. I bought a roll (25) of the Susan B. Anthony dollars in 2001 all uncirculated. I also have some real old silver dollars as well.

The reason I bought the Susan B Anthony coins was because I went on a campout in Jackson Mississippi Harley Davidson dealership.

The owner had a list of things you had to bring to get in line for the 2002 and 2003 HD bikes.

The list had a roll of pennies, a roll of new nickles, a roll of new dimes, a roll of new quarters, a roll of new dollars, a large state flag from where you were from, some Mardi Gras beads, and the largest DD bra you could find.

I kept all the coins. Took the bra and flag back to Walmart.

When you signed in at the dealership you had to show the owner all your required items and tell him which motorcycle you wanted him to order and in which color.

No money down or anything else.

Saturday morning, 2 busses showed up and took everyone to the airport. He had chartered a jet to San Antonio Texas. He flew everyone out there for an airshow and a motocycle show. Then on Sunday he had B B Q cooked on a grill out back of the dealership and a big party for all.

He also gave discounts on HD chrome at -10% and installed it free. I bought 2 bikes from him. A 2002 and a 2003 model.

He had camp sites out back everywhere of the dealership plus large bath house and walk in coolers for your beer.

I have a moped.  Embarrassed

Morning gents. Rough night for mrs. cbbama last night. Stomach ailments (I won't distress you with the details, but it was not pleasant). She was a little better this morning, but running a fever. Please pray for her, but also that little cbbama and myself don't catch it as well.  Pray

You got it, buddy. So you're saying she has the Barrett Trotter's?

Laughing Laughing   Somehow I don't think she would find that nearly as funny as I did.

We,re creeping up on the weekend. Any big plans, guys?

I'm cutting on that downed tree closest to my deck, maybe some yard work, and watching LOTS of football.  You traveling to the game, 2?

Not this weekend. I have to work Saturday morning & Breddy is bustin' my chops about leaving her & my other 2 daughters on their own to watch the games. I will be firmly planted in the couch cushion that perfectly forms to my azz, with cold, frosty beverage in hand for this game.

Darn tootin'! Handling all the couch-coaching solo is tough! Almost accidentally threw Noods into the ceiling fan last weekend when McCarron didn't run that td in himself.

And watching the game with Smelly, well...

Smelly: "Oh my God, why isn't Richardson on the field? What happened?"
Breddy: "Because he isn't on defense."

WV would love watching football with Smelly Tongue

True story.

Expecting a story on Bama/LSU NOW on ESPN2.

They're giving way too much love for Oklahoma.
You just noticed Skip Bayless is from OK? The rest were split.

It makes you want to jump through the TV after Bayless. Said the big difference was the advantage the Big 12 had in non-conf games. He must be talking about the OU win over recently exposed FSU. That is all I know of non-conf wise.

The youngest boy not joining us for supper this evening. Big roast in a crockpot and a bottle of red on the counter. I have a great chance of doing some good tonight, as long as the woman doesn't find out I'm the worst poster, between now and 7:30!

Yeah, no kidding. He also thought the difference between Ok and Bama/LSU was their explosive offense. Well, I can see that, since the Big 12 is known for throwing stout defenses at the likes of Oklahoma......oh wait, that's right, they don't. Well, speaking of the OOC game against the Noles, they did roll up a big 13 points on them. Skip better hope that OK doesn't meet Bama or LSU. They'll make OK's offense go from being explosive to fizzling into a popcorn fart.

Good luck in your quest.  If it helps your chances any you can tell her that Dr. Lecter sees you no worse than 3rd from the bottom.
