Do you feel that, since you are an Alabama fan, people there are keeping an especially close eye on you around their trees?

Just got home from an evening meeting.  I listened to the Sirius radio on the way there and home; all the talk is Garcia and Spurrier.  It's just an unfortunate and frustrating mess.  But, at least USCe has it behind them now.

Good day. Light rain for the most part here all day. Cool temps, great weather.

Kinda chilly for the ten minutes I was outside telling the 2 guys I paid what all needed done. Tolerable.

Dad breathing on his own yet?

I may have overstated that. But he is still hooked to the oxygen. I've learned in the past few days that increased oxygen levels are beneficial in the tissue regenerative process that follows surgery. IDK

Good deal. Sounds like his situation is improving.

Cool, maybe the prayers helped. 

I hate to start a big bar fight over something as innocuous as praying, but here goes. You always hear folks say, "We'll be praying for you", but I'll bet that is as far as it usually goes. Does just saying, "I'll pray for", actually in itself constitute a prayer. I say no.

I realize many are merely fumbling for something to say in an awkward situation. But if you say you're praying for someone, this is a promise that must be followed through. If a fellow will lie about praying,-- of what else is he capable?


BTW, this has nothing to do with my friend CAT. I've been saving it up.

Another one that gets me is the wasted post of, "I was going to say that", or "You read my mind", or "Great minds think alike", or ""you beat me to it". I see it all the time. You get the message here. Trying to grab 1/2 credit for your e-friend's post is lame. Think up your own material.

Again, no way-no how is this in reference to CAT or any of his posts. Plus no one would ever dare take credit for the crazy sh-- he posts. Never. Not pointing fingers at anyone, --just sayin...
