Yep, I mentioned the injury at 7:17, then at 7:25 UT got the 52-yard fg (5:57 until halftime).

I picked the rest of the apples today. Dug carrots. Picked pumpkins. Dug the rest of the onions. What a great summer. Really dry the month of August. But better than if I wrote the script, otherwise. Summer and fall are over. Winter is here.

I have my outside Christmas lights in here tonight. I'll go ahead and put them up in the next couple of weeks. Next kinda warm day.

The trick to it is putting them up at the same time as cleaning leaves out of gutters for winter (while you have the ladders out). But December weather is usually too cold to be putting lights up and working on little stuff with no gloves.

Based on this week's weather in Mississippi, I'd say you've got 2-3 days to get them up.

I will put mine up around the middle of November.  I like to turn them on for the kids for the first time (officially) when we get home from Thanksgiving at Grandmother's house.  Then we go out the next morning on black Friday and pick out a Christmas tree.
