"Good evening, all"

 Shocked
[Looks around in disbelief]

"Cool look on this new, fancy forum."

NICE.

The show as good, but my new Bama buddy wasn't there today.  He bailed after one day; I heard he had a family commitment.
Best new stories today were all knife sales; no purchases except an old Buck knife.  And I sold some silver dollars.

Note to General: S-T-I-H-L.  I've owned several, and my Stihl is dependable and hardy.  My bro-in-law just bought one too; said he'll never go back to Husqvnaravtsfaffsgah (whatever it is).  Stihl dealers are few, but the product is great.  I've had mine since 1991, have cut at least 200 trees, and keep myself in firewood every year.

I'll read some now...

This seems to be the consensus, both here and elsewhere on the internets.

Now, where do you get one of these?

Google a dealer in your area.  That's the easiest way.

Then go visit, and know this.  When my bro-in-law ("Dee") and I went to shop for a Stihl in Virginia, Dee found a friend at a dealership (a fellow gun-range guy).  His friend told us that dealers are constrained on "deals" to a max of 10% discount (if you ask).  That's the most you can get.

Well, I am 1-1 versus the stumps.  Anyone know where I can get some dynamite?

Also, I am tired of my 5 year old 80 dollar chainsaw.  Recommendations?

I have two Husky's, I had a Stihl stolen.  It is imposable to beat a Shindaiwa I have some hedge clippers that are the best I have ever owned.  We have around 20 of the chainsaws in one of our divisions at work.

There should be several dealers in Pell City. Lawnmower dealers or Stihl dealers. RTR!

Mornin' all. I made it back from P'cola without incident. Just a little hard to steer with the wind and all. Great header SC. Looks great. E-creds to all. I'll pick this back up at work.

Glad you made it home safely.  You've got me thinking about a trip to the coast when it warms a bit.

Pup, what's in Vacherie, LA (other than plantation below)??

I cant find a Stihl 029 except used.   I am looking at the stihl 290 farm boss.

Is this somewhat equivalent?

Yeah, I'll be heading back down when the weather is good and try the fishing again. This was a tough weekend with the bad weather and my wife with the flu. I did, however, catch up on some badly needed rest.
