I have a question about the MSU game. I know Alabama buses the team to Starkville since is only 80 miles away. When will the team leave? Since it is a night game will they travel tomorrow or will they travel today and spend the night and most of the day tomorrow at a hotel? TIA
I don't know the answer. But this came up in the PSU conversation as to where there team or Nebraska will stay. Back when I was in school, when computers were made of wood, teams always stayed away from State College, Tuscaloosa, or Starkville. I think a UGA game, in which we lost, broke Coach Bryant of that. The band circled the hotel, playing all night, to where the team had to drag their mattresses into the hall.

I want to say that happened in 1976?

If it was an early game (11:30) I think they stay in Columbus. Since it is a night game I did not know if they would stay at their home game hotel or travel to Columbus today.

Thanks Hank and WV for your input.  Applause E-Cred

Hey WV. Did you get that kid a leaf blower yet? I was just wondering if there are any leaves left within 5 miles of your house. The boy seems to like to work.

LOL-- he raked out the flower beds--then this morning they were covered in snow.

He is the only kid left at home. The woman is killing him. He is probably happy to be outside working, instead of cleaning out his closet or trying on his suit. We almost have empty nest. She has been learning to make candy--mailing food to Morgantown and Baton Rouge. She needs a boyfriend on the side! Pray

Did daughter in Red Stick have mixed emotions about the game or have the corndogs completely brainwashed her? I would hope she would carry your strong DNA and beat up the obnoxious corndogs with one hand and maintain a 4.0 GPA with the other, while yelling Roll Tide!

She isn't paying any attention to it. Could care less. I wrote a few weeks ago at her being at a game in Baton Rouge-- but the woman says she is working full time (Vet's office) and doesn't go to games. She flew home for the WVU-LSU game but her and her sister didn't even go to the game.  She is more mature than I am so I just try and stay out of the way.

Seems the women are always more mature.  Sad

She's at baumhowers in Tuscaloosa!

Last Saturday she was in Tuscaloosa. At Bufflao Wild Wings last night for "Hey Coach" show.

Zydeco is a bar in Southside B'ham and "Tim Reynolds" is one of :Dave Matthews Band" guitar players I think, that is playing there.

The iPhone and the "Foursquare App" gives us a good idea where our 26 year old daughter is when she checks in. Sometimes.
