Well that was fun and the world is a better place now.  We supplied the www with 100 signs to look for to figure out if someone is a barner.  I am going to have to turn in now.  I wonder if any of these will still be funny when I wake up.  The rest of the gang is going to wonder what we were smoking.

"Good morning."
"Morning- How's the trip?"

Highlights:

1. LF tried a carbon-fiber cello in Nashville.  We left it there.  Salesman said, "You can even play it in the shower."  Ewwwe.

2. We managed to dodge several bad wrecks on I-40, but they delayed our travel by 1.5 hours.

3. I bought 20 knives from a friend of a friend.  Most are 1960-1970s (CASE, Boker, and such).

4. I've got a meeting this morning, but after that it's all family time.

Sorry your hoof is still sore.

I listened to PF on the satellite radio yesterday (while driving).  All of the Boogers concede it'll be a loss.  I'd take a one-point win, but a beatdown would be fun.

Carbon-fiber cello.  $7.5k for a toy that sounds "bright" (LF, 2011).  No thanks.

Isn't Kevlar made from carbon fiber? Bullet proof cello?

GM.  Composite materials like carbon fiber can offer some nice advantages, but they can also drive the cost of a design up without any real benefits.  The program I work on just wasted about $15mil and a year of schedule and now we're going back to aluminum.  That was someone's recommendation (cough...mine) from the beginning.

They should have just given you 1 mil and a 3 month vacation.

The only cello you can get for $25 is one that sounds like the 3 Stooges rode it down a hill.  Or was that a bass?
