Maybe nobody answered yet because of your "Good afternoon" greeting at 9:30 in the morning.  Regardless, "Good day to you."  You have any trailer recipes?   Grin

Rough weather up your way, brother ricky? It was cloudy much of the day here in Mobile yesterday but never saw a drop of rain.

Speaking of late responders, that would be me. Been packing up the condo, so now I'm taking a break. Once again, plenty of rain...no severe weather. Yay!

Not too much water in the foothills of Upstate SC where this condo is. When I get back to P'cola, you can come down and we'll go Pompano fishing. Speaking of which, my 2 fishing buddies went to the beach at Ft. Pickens yesterday for Pompano fishing. DW likes to wade out into the surf, cast, and bring the rod & reel back to put in the tube stuck in the sand. Yesterday he waded out & got caught in a rip current. He panicked & couldn't remember to swim sideways to get out of it. He fought it for 30 minutes, almost gave up and finally heard
Charlie hollering for him to swim sideways. He did and made it out enough for onlookers to help him in. He told me he literally thought he was dead. Many people have drowned in the northern Gulf because of rip currents. He was lucky.

Almost forgot. They did catch a couple of Pompano, but he lost a $250 rod & reel.

Indeed.  # for not calling them "rip tides".

I'd enjoy a chance at some Pompano.

Inexpensive swimming lesson.

A friend of mine lost her husband to drowning at Pensacola Beach (years ago).  We lived there then.
