Almost forgot. They did catch a couple of Pompano, but he lost a $250 rod & reel.

Inexpensive swimming lesson.

A friend of mine lost her husband to drowning at Pensacola Beach (years ago).  We lived there then.

Indeed it was an inexpensive lesson. Very sorry about your friend's husband. As it turns out, I got a little time on my hands, or at least I will be the end of next week. Come on down and we'll try to avoid the rip currents.

Laughing.  I'm working straight through until mid-May.  We should have a gathering some time, though.

Next. So this will be the first time trailing the tractor? You comfortable with that?

I'm just taking the bucket this morning.

But, if you want to run me through trailering that would be great.  I bought two 2" tie-down straps.  I am also trading out trailers today for a bigger one, so I plan on practicing trailering a few times and driving around the block before I go on any long trips.

Years ago, I can remember dreading using the trailer. Not good at backing up, etc., and I planned my course to make sure I would not get in a jam. Now I don't even think about it. Just takes a little practice. From the beginning, in reverse, if your rear end (truck) goes left, your trailer goes right. Said another way, if you turn your wheel rgt., your trailer goes left. Braking distances are lengthened some. Wide turns until you get a handle on it. Plan ahead, but just take it easy for awhile. LOL I got stuck when my trailer wheel went up on a curb at the drive-thru bank. I was waving out the window for the cars behind me to back up, but I couldn't get my driver's side door open to get out. Oh,and be sure to check your trailer lights/blinkers. If you have to back into a stall at the dealer, ask the guy to do it if you don't want to. Also, it seems the girls at Wendy's don't appreciate it when you pull through with a load of manure.

Oh, I have a lot of experience pulling trailers.  I meant securing the tractor.

Big tires over axles. Set park brake. Bucket down. Ratchet tight and chock tires. Across brush guard and one in front of seat? Owners manual pics? I wouldn't take bucket off, unless the guy at dealer said to.

It's a quick release like on a bobcat.  I already loaded it.
