...See! There you go with the mean spirited stuff. "GM. Christmas cookies with the coffee?"

Just coffee so far.  If I knew where the women hid all of the cookies I might be having a few.  Tomorrow I'll be home with my own cookies.
Forgot you were traveling. Hid the cookies. Write this down-- Gifts for next year: Cookie Jars for everyone!

Good idea.  Laughing  But you'll have to remind me.

I just looked to see what was in our cookie jar. Tea bags! This country is going straight to hell I tell you!

About the only time I drink tea is when I travel and coffee isn't available.  Tea bags are light and easy to pack.

I started that when I backpacked; just boil water and soon have tea.  I still enjoy tea occasionally; flashbacks to sleeping in a tent.  Youth... sigh.  Sometimes I miss it.

Poor ol' BAMAWV's momma is pushing 90 years old. She had our family for the weekend along with my sister and her family. The boys and I only came to Charleston for the day and did not stay overnight. But as I remember as a kid, every nook and cranny of their home was decorated for Christmas. All the bathrooms alone is a big job. The front door foyer was adorned, but probably the only guy that saw that was the UPS or FED-EX delivery man-- family and friends know to use the kitchen door. Shrubs were lit and an array of electric Christmas candles gathered in the yard. The credenzas and end tables had Christmas tree shaped dishes chock full of candy, nuts, and cookies. Everyone awoke to Christmas morning with pitchers of Bloody Mary's or Irish Coffee. 5 or 6 pies were on a kitchen counter, covered in tin foil for the drive to her Granddaughters house. She has downsized on her tree in recent years but it was still barely visible among the perfectly wrapped presents. MFBAGMBAMAWV!

Nice description. Sounds much like my mother's house when she was alive. I can still remember the great aromas in the house during Christmas time.

As do I.  Sad She and I had the same birthday. I celebrate it more in her memory than anything else.

She and I sometimes fish together over the deep-blue sea.  It's her fault if they're not biting.  Smiley

She and her husband came to our house in Tennessee for Christmas, 1993. My father died in 1976 and she remarried in 1979. Anyway, it snowed that Christmas morning without any warning. It only snowed about an inch, but it was the only white Christmas any of us had ever had. They left the next morning. It was the last time I saw her alive.

Afternoon, all. Hope everyone is having a great Christmas today and that no one had lumps of coal in their stocking.

I have lumps in my stocking, but it's my leg.
You're getting CB a little turned on!

I think I got rid of them all.  Cb will have to visit their website if he wants more choices of dresses.

Look, just because a man OCCASIONALLY wants to wear a pair of fishnets .....

Oh, did I say that out loud?  Embarrassed     GM, by the way.
