I wonder what they charge to fly his crate down to Belize?

Not quite what you meant, I know, but the rates recently changed.  It used to be ~$100 to send a pet.  Now it's $200, unless you carry her in a "kennel" (i.e., crate) and fit her under the seat ($125 plus extra-bag charges by some airlines).  And you have to deal with all of the kids who want to see her.  I usually just say, "She has rabies."

I once sat next to a woman who was carrying a monkey (Seattle to Memphis).  The monkey was the smarter one.  Tinfoil Hat

If you flew Northwest, I'm sure your experience was doubly exciting, if you arrived at all.

It looked like this, except the dress had monkeys on it.  The idiot woman held it during the flight, and it kept grabbing everyone who walked past in the aisle.  NUTS.  I've since learned that it is illegal to take it out of the kennel, but she had to (to change its diaper - ewwwe!)

Sounds like they should have made her stay in the kennel with the monkey.

Bwahahaha.  Mean-spirited?  Perhaps.  Hilarious?  Without doubt.

E-cred worthy?  I think so.

Thanks, commander.

Meanwhile, I'm spending the day packing everything in sight into one medium-sized bag (flippers, mask, swimsuit, fishing reels, hooks and lures, binoculars, tee shirts, shorts, crocs...).  I leave at 4AM for the airport.

Your idea trumps LF's.  She was packing an aluminum-foil blob of fruit cake for me.
