Still no pancakes. Angry

30 mph gusts of snow making the house across the road disappear every 20 seconds or so. Or maybe something really odd. I'll get back to you.

Did you get the boy that leaf blower that could also move a small mountain of wet snow? It may come in handy if you have to hike across the road to check on what used to be the neighbors house.

Hello all.  I figured it must be bad in the states, because a strong front moved through here yesterday.  Thus our satellite signal is poor, and web is occasional.  TV works great, and the cooks are doing a fine job.

I see I'm 19-10 ??  No way.  I'll enjoy it for now, but that's a shock.  At least I picked Alabama, so if my luck holds, we'll win by 2 TDs.

I haven't been able to post pics, but I will when the web works better.  Lots of swimsuits here this year  Smiley
We've been catching plenty of fish.  Yesterday we went in the heavy rain, and caught a bunch of Barracuda, snapper, jacks, mackerel, and mahi mahi.  Fun, but cool rain.

High temp here today is just 78.  Sad  Low is 70.  Better tomorrow; supposed to be clear and warmer.

Hope all are well.  Roll Tide.

Congrats on the 19-10 and also on the fish. Apparently we need to ship you an upgraded satellite.

My friend says you can buy (rent) hookers  and gamble, eat, drink (casinos) for cheap down there. What kind of cheap ass Mississippi plan are you on where you have to catch your own food?

Thanks 2 and MW (eyeroll),

Windy today, but nice enough.  I'll go flyfishing again.  I caught 4 fish yesterday while flyfishing, but only 1 was a good fight (big Bar Jack).  Challenging in the wind, but it beats sitting at home watching rain, cold, or snow.  Craziest fish yesterday was a wrasse (called a slippery dick --no joke, that's its name; google if necessary).

I have some pics to post from New Year's Eve.  I'll try, but web is still slow.

Look forward to the pics. It's cold here for P'cola standards. My thermometer said it got to 26. One of my business partners was at his NC mountain house outside of Boone and said it was 5 degrees. I can only imagine how cold it is at WV's place.

Your accent already reflects the British colonial heritage. I thought it was Old Tider for a minute there. I am kinda on Guatemala's side in territorial issues, so we should only talk football. HTH

MW, you are cleverly so full of crap.  You, of all people, should know that Guatemala's President wasn't even born in Guatemala.  HTHJALB.

Maybe a UCLA basketball game. Jumbotron,-- now national news. Guy proposes to girlfriend and she says no and walks off.  I'm thinking set up- young people grabbing at fame-- this being an act. On all the news channels this AM.

So what kind of set up do you have down there, Chech?  Do you own something or rent?

Chech? You out there? The daily thread just goes too quiet in your absence. I take it fishing continues to be good?
