The catch: Black Grouper, Hogfish, Dog Snapper, and Crevalle Jack.

do they keep those down there ? are they the same as the ones we catch here ?
it's hard to tell from the picture / crappy monitor
we call ours Jack Crevalle but nobody eats them here .
I know in other areas around the GOM some people say they grill them ...
taste like chicken ?

Yep, same fish.  I don't care for them, but some here eat them.  Usually served the day they're caught.

We've caught many Jack Crevalle. What a fight they put up. Large ones take almost an 1/2 hour to land. We've always released them.
They are not catching fish but down there running dope. Probably where Dre got his. My guess is he uses code names with fish to denote shipments to 2S and CB. It is quite the tangled weave. Hope this helps you, Hank!

Thanks alot, WV. Now my cover is blown.  Angry
I hope your car and snowblower won't meet some unfortunate ACCIDENT

Good thing I don't own a car OR a snow blower. My tractors have blades for snow removal, and then we use a new invention:

It has snowed so little this year I just holler, "Y'all be careful on those steps." LOL

OK, I hope your shovel and your horse and buggy don't have an accident then.

Just had a nap in my hammock (it's like a flexible lawn chair, WV).

Caught 3 Barracuda, 4 jacks, a snapper, and a Cero Mackerel this morning offshore (trolling).  I was bushed after lunch.  You?

p.s. all of this is MW code.

I knew it!

I also know a guy named Hammock from Clanton. Pretty industrious fella, though. Never dreamed they'd name a nap after him.

Well, I'm holding things up!

If you are going to try that hammock, CB, I'd first take some of that slack out. HTH

"Good morning."

No hammock-envy intent.  I suggest we have a reunion (well, union anyhow) here during June.  Any takers?

But that would take all the mystery out of it.

What kind of person eats mashed potatos with a steak. This bothers me. What are the mechanics of that? You roast your steak and catch the drippings. Then as your steak gets cold you use the drippings to make the gravy. If the steak was grilled correctly, which the one in the photo was not, there shouldn't have been any drippings anyway--seared into the meat. Baked potatoes, twice baked potatoes, french fries, onion rings. The woman makes a potato casserole that would go with a steak. Onions rings. But mashed potatoes and a sissy azz steak is just gay. Don't be that guy, running around saying, "oh, isn't it great to be gay".
