High School Prom tonight for my daughter. It looks like an all day event. The day starts by getting her hair done at 9:30. Pictures at 2:30.  Dinner reservations for 5 couples at PF Changs. I hope she enjoys herself. The dress cost me $300 and she will wear it one time.

I feel your pain. My youngest daughter is getting married this December. The money train has already left the station. I hope your daughter has a great time. Be sure to have that "special" talk with her date.  Wink

$300 is what Mrs. pmull told you the dress cost. HTH

By process of elimination, "almost certainly".

Ate at the Old Talbott's Tavern in Bardstown, Ky last night. For desert, I had a shot of Elijah Craig 18 yr old Bourbon. Lot's of history at this place. One of the attached buildings was once an inn where people like Abe Lincoln, Lewis & Clark, Daniel Boone, French King Louise Phillipe, and Jesse James stayed. An interesting tidbit about Elijah Craig; he was a Baptist preacher and was the first person to char a barrel for aging Bourbon. Bardstown, Ky is hailed as the Bourbon capital of the world.

Old Elijah is the kind of preacher we'd have on this forum.  Wink

I wonder what gave him the idea to char the barrel?  Hmmm... this is good, but if we put a little burnt wood in there it would be better.
