Preacher, there is a Sea of Galilee episode here today.  The pier is surrounded by tons of sardines.  They are so thick that the ocean floor (just 12' down) is blocked out.  They move in reaction to every predatory fish passing by, and it seems that the ocean floor is moving.  The pelicans are having a great time diving on them, but I fear they'll be so stuffed that they die.  At least we have plenty of bait!

I took some of the sardines out for a swim (i.e., fishing) this afternoon.  I caught a big Barracuda, then spent the rest of the time catching tuna on squid lures.  Now I'm having a refreshment (harumph) and getting ready for dinner.

How as your afternoon?

Sawmill dinner, Preacher?  I don't think I could eat sardines after smelling them in the bait bucket.

Dinner tonight was lobster (again).  Maybe I shouldn't have bragged on the cook for last night's meal.  Send help.

My daughter who just graduated and lives and works in B'ham came home for the weekend last night. We went to Casa Santiago Mexican Grill for dinner. Pedro the cook was on top of his game last night.
