We've about finished the bathroom, at least the part I'll help finish.  Here's a photo of it so far:

Looking good. Slap a little paint on those walls and it will look just like a bathroom.

Home plate is 60 ft 6 inches from the pitchers mound. I threw it right down the middle, oh about 57 feet, a real nice one-hopper. My FSIL took video. When he sends it to me, I'll post it. My form looked good, though. I decided against the brewsky, but had a nice cold one directly after. 

You only threw it about 48-50 feet since you started at the bottom of the mound and rolled bounced it in. It might have been a strike if you were on a 12 year olds field.

In George Bush's book Decision Points he tells about throwing out the first pitch at a Yankee's game after 9/11. He was in the clubhouse taking some practice throws. Derek Jeter came up and talked to him for a minute. Jeter told him it was not a big deal, don't be nevous, etc. As he walked away he tuned to Bush and said "Don't bounce it, they will boo you if you bounce it". Bush said he threw it high and wide but it did not hit the ground.

Boy, a guy works a 14 hour day and logs on to see his e-buddies making fun of him, lol! Just for the record, I didn't get to warm up like President Bush. In fact that was the 2nd time I've thrown a baseball in years. The first was Tuesday, just to see if I could throw it without hurting myself. I deserve it, though. It's my own fault for not even attempting a few practice throws. A buddy of mine suggested I try pitching a 5 iron to home plate next time. I told him I'd just hit it fat.

update on "the pitch"

guys , 2 had great form , the ball left his hand perfect and
looked like a strike all the way ... a heater right down main street @

so , that leaves only on other cause of a hopper ...
a down draft , a weather phenom while rare it does happen  .

I saw a plane hit a water tower at Dallas Ft. Worth Airport one
day because of one ... yep , a downdraft , the only answer !
