nice one SC , I have some from his A's time too not sure which ones though
I have one in a glass case , (came that way) with his signature
not sure if it's worth much but back when he was a hero I believe it was .

I have a full set of Alabama Players Football cards ranging from
several years before on up into the 80's , wonder if they are worth anything ?

"Good morning."

Still having issues with the slow wireless here in NC.  Better than an alternator altercation!

Good "dry" Friday morning.

What, you quit drinking?

Not now; we're still awaiting funds for our trip to London; remember?

No, not that kind of dry, I'm still in training for that.

Here is the one I have:

I have tons of Topps from '83, '84, and '85.

That's an '87 Topps.  I used to have a ton of them.  I probably had at least a dozen McGwire and Bonds rookie cards from that year.

That's right.  I only had a few '87 Topps before I stopped buying them.  I think I had a bunch of the '86 Topps too.

I use to have a great big card board box full of the 60's and 70's. All the famous names and I actually had to make room in my bedroom for more stuff so when I cleaned them out I burned all that stuff. I wonder how much money I burned up. As, we all know, ignorance is no excuse. lol, RTR!

Afternoon boys. Let's see: plan on taking the woman and the young'un to The Track down in Gulf Shores for fam time. We want to leave at 8:30, so naturally we leave at 9. We get there, sun is beating down, sweat pouring off of me as we "enjoy" a round of min-golf and go carts. After 2 and a half hours of this, go to the Shrimp Basket for lunch with a whining 5-year-old wondering when we are going to eat. Then slow traffic on way back to Mobile, with a whining 5-year-old wondering when we are going to get home. Hit major backup on I-10 Bayway going through GW Tunnel, rain starts to pour, need to stop at Bruno's for milk, and 5-year-old wants to see the sign for Chuck E. Cheese (not go there, mind you, just see the sign). Finally home around 4:30. I don't know about y'all, but it is:

or at my house, Yuengling Time.

Had a good day.
Not a driving-in-the-traffic-and-rain day, but a good day with friends.
Hope you guys are doing well too.  More of the same tomorrow!   Kiss

You look relaxed. It suits you. I will be playing in a golf tourney early in the AM at the RTJ course in Mobile, then it's off to a nursing school graduation party for a good friend who accomplished it with the weight of the world on her shoulders. What she's been through, I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, and quite honestly, I don't know how she pulled it off. Anyway, that will be in the far reaches of Gulf Breeze. Then home tomorrow night to crash and burn. I guess I'll see you guys Sunday. Hope your Saturday is a good one.

"Good morning."

Wireless still SLOW.  Wasn't working until just now.  Hope you all have a good day.  I'm off to visit UNC today.  Hopefully I'll get a look at their football facilities.

I am pretty sure that you and I could anchor the U.S. team pretty well in 2016, 2. Throw Chech in, and there is no doubt we win.
