I remember leaving Louisiana once to get away from a hurricane.  We went to Fairhope, then it hit us there.     I didn't get to go fishing either!

I thought about Camp Leroy, but you are a little ways inland. If it remains a Cat 1, you should be ok, buddy. As we all know, most storms that enter the Gulf are fairly unpredictable. Landfall predictions change more than Mrs. 2 changes her mind. I'm not going to sweat it until it gets closer in. Even if it comes here, if it stays a Cat 1, we probably won't leave.
