G'morning everybody. First chance I've had to check in since arriving in SC. I had planned on going home tomorrow, with watching the game, being top priority when I got home. Unfortunately, my uncle died, so I'll be going to Wilmington, NC to pay my respects. He was the last senior member of my family out of a combined 15. My oldest brother is now the oldest in the families.

Sounds like everybody on the forum made it through the storms unscathed. I was glad to see that. I appreciate y'all's concern. Mrs. 2 said all is well in P'cola. Wish I was going to be there to watch the game, but that isn't going to happen. Guess I'll have to settle for a sports bar or my hotel room. At any rate, ROLL TIDE!!!

Buddy 1 (Gautier, MS): boat was partially sunken, but he got the bilge pumps working again and saved it.  No problems at his home.

Buddy 2 (Grand Bay, AL): lost his pecan crop and limbs from trees, but no trees down.  He was pleased to not lose trees.  He said they had 9" of rain yesterday, almost 20" total.

Rainfall in coastal MS and AL exceeded that in Louisiana.

I am back from the doctors' office. I got a tube put in my ear. Still no more talk of my back. It is what it is and will be on the meds the rest of my life. Yea it does aggravate me, it's not suppose to but it does. 16 pills in the morning, 7 at lunch, and 16 at evening and 4 pills at bedtime. Now I guess you can see why the VA needs money. God Bless you guys for listening, it actually helped. Now it's football day so we gonna get ready for tonight and tomorrow night. RTR!

Well guys, this is my last post on here for a few days until we get our Internet up and running in Maryland. Truck is almost packed and we are heading to Tuscaloosa tomorrow, then on to Maryland Sunday. Please pray for us as we make the trip, get settled in, and as I do some job hunting. Everybody be good, and let's pull the Tide through tomorrow. RTR!!! and I will see you guys sometime next week.

There you are. I'm glad things are ok for you, family, and friends at home and sorry to hear about your uncle, thoughts and prayers for all. The big day is here for all of us armchair quarterbacks so I hope you have a good setting for the game and we need a little support from the East coast so make a lot of noise over there. RTR!!
